Sourcing Brain General Functionality Bug Fixes

  • When printing the scheme list, the title was showing as ‘Test’. This has now been changed to read ‘Scheme List’.

  • Within the Support page on the initial log in screen, the Mortgage Brain email address was still showing a hyphen. This has now been removed to ensure consistency with our new email addresses.

  • Within the Sourcing tab, when entering a term of 3 years and a ‘show cost over’ of 5 years, a warning message has been included to flag that the show cost over cannot be greater than the term.

  • Within the Product Filters tab, the Add Fees section displays an Include Fee Threshold box. Within Sourcing Brain, there was no default setting, however Mortgage Brain Classic did include a default of £100. The same default has now been introduced to Sourcing Brain – it can still be changed by the end user – but this allows for the inclusion of products who may have a small fee that clients are happy to pay up front.

  • Spelling mistake corrected within the Graphing Calculator – the Y-Axis label was misspelt showing "Oustanding" instead of "Outstanding".

  • It was noted that having input an email address at the illustration production, this was not being saved back to the client once the illustration was produced. This has now been addressed.

  • When excluding lenders manually within sourcing, the Product Selection Report, produced at point of illustration, was not showing the lender name that had been excluded.

  • Under the Favourites functionality, after creating the max number of favourites (7) and logging out, when logging back in, only 5 were displayed in the Settings function.

  • If producing an illustration for a joint applicant, the software was allowing the ability to produce it with only one name displayed. This has now been fixed to ensure that both names are contained on the illustration.

  • Within the Debt Calculator, when producing the Print Comparison it was titled incorrectly. It is now titled Debtcalc.pdf.

  • The integration with Affordability Brain got stuck in a loop when launching from Sourcing Brain to Affordability Brain with a split loan. Investigations were carried out and this has been addressed.

  • Within the Sourcing tab, having pressed for Results but received an error message, there was a spelling mistake on the pop up box for the word Summary. Now corrected.

  • A bug was raised when using the Amend Scenario option within the Scheme List window. It was noted that the Show Cost Over column was not displaying the new figure if it had been amended.

  • Within the Debt Calculator, when adding debts or loans to the debt calculator, then clicking refinance, the figures were not being passed through to the refinance screen.

  • Within the Debt Calculator, if a credit card amount entered included the pence values, then the debt calculations were displaying incorrectly.

  • When sourcing a BTL product, the scheme list side bar displays a BTL tab. The Notional Rate within this section was only displaying to one decimal place. This now shows two decimal places to be consistent with all figures displayed.

  • When setting the column order for the Filters letter, an incorrect warning was displayed and the reorder button was not working. The warning appeared stating that the maximum allowed total column width in the Filters Letter is 525 even though the columns selected were less than this. It was also noted that the Reset button, to reinstate the original column order, was not working correctly.

  • On the Scheme List print out only, the scheme list was showing an incorrect Repayment Period heading for the source carried out.

  • Sourcing for BTL products, the Scheme Details side bar was not displaying the lender’s Notional Rate for all lenders. This was due to some lender’s having the same pay rate as notional rate.

  • When an Exit fee, like a Deeds fee, is payable on application, the final fees column in the scheme list was displaying an incorrect figure as it was including this fee, but the fee was also being included in the Initial Fees column. The side bar display was correct.

  • Adverse Filters were not working as expected with some products that allowed for DMP / Repossessions / Payday loans. This was fixed by amending an underlying file on the software.

  • Within the Start tab, the existing lender list displays ‘Unknown’ at the top of the list. This option has now been moved to the end of the list to ensure that the client’s existing lender is chosen and therefore provides correct information on PTs.
